Volunteers Needed for Biannual Water Testing
Pecan Valley Rural Water District has been required by the Department of Environmental Quality to collect twice annually water testing samples for lead and copper in residences on our water distribution system.
We need 20 residents spread around our community to volunteer to participate in this program. We will provide the necessary water sample bottles and the form. It is a simple process of filling the sampling bottle the very first thing in the morning from your most frequently used COLD water faucet, either the kitchen or a bathroom, signing the form, and either dropping the sample bottle at our office or calling, texting, or emailing us to come pick it up.
If you are willing to participate in this program next week and again in July, please email us at pecanvalleyrwd@gmail.com or call us at 580-510-0306 and leave a message. We WILL call you back.
